These 44 cellphones will be blocked by WhatsApp as of November 1, 2021

As of November 1, 2021, 44 mobile phones (HP) will be blocked by WhatsApp. Try to check in the following list below whether the device you are using is included in it.

This blocking is because the operating system used by the 43 cellphones is outdated. So that WhatsApp no longer provides support that makes new services and features unusable by users.

The Facebook-owned messaging company said they wanted to provide the best experience for users. And the decision has been conveyed by WhastAppo since a few months ago on its website.

"WhatsApp will no longer support Android phones running OS 4.0.4 and earlier on November 1, 2021. Please switch to a supported device or save your chat history before that date," WhatsApp wrote on the Android FAQ page.

"WhatsApp for iPhone requires iOS 10 or later. For the best experience, we recommend that you use the latest version of iOS available for your phone," says WhatsApp on the iPhone FAQ page.

So WhatsApp requires that the cellphone is running Android 4.1 or later, and iOS 10 or later. Currently, there are 44 cellphones that have not been monitored to get the update.
