After bombarding the market with the Redmi Note 10 series, Xiaomi is now starting to release Redmi 10 on the market. What are its superior features?
Redmi 10 is positioned below the Redmi Note 10 family, with a lower price tag. But that does not mean the specifications are far behind, also with a row of superior features.
Actually these features are not very new, but for a phone in its price class, it seems that these features are new. What the hell?
50MP camera
Cell phones with tens of megapixel cameras previously already existed. But according to Xiaomi, Redmi 10 is an entry-level phone with the best camera in its class.
Xiaomi presents Redmi 10 as its 50MP hero which is ready to become an entry-level smartphone with the best camera in its class.
They claim this is because Redmi 10 has a main camera with a 50MP sensor. This main camera is coupled with the presence of an 8MP ultra-wide angle camera lens, a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor that further supports users in creating quality content.
Not only camera resolution, Redmi 10 also provides interesting filter modes, such as gold vibe, lime, summer, fantasy, encounter, and breeze which can be accessed directly through the gallery. This feature makes it easy for users to directly edit and beautify photo and video content more efficiently.
MediaTek Helio G88
Now as the brain of Redmi 10, MediaTek's Helio G88 was chosen which has eight cores and is divided into two ARM Cortex-A75 cores and six ARM Cortex-A55 cores.
This fast core has a maximum speed of 2GHz, and is promised to be capable for daily needs. Good for creating content, browsing, and playing games. Also supported by the Memory Extension feature, which can switch storage into RAM, which adds 1GB for the 4GB/64GB variant and 2GB for 6GB/128GB.
6.5" FHD+ DotDisplay 90 Hz Adaptive Sync
The screen used is also modern. Indeed, it's still IPS but has a 90Hz refresh rate. The screen size is 6.5 inches with FHD + DotDisplay resolution, which is the place to store the front camera.
This 90Hz refresh rate is equipped with Adaptive Sync, which will adjust the refresh rate according to the content displayed. So when not needed, the refresh rate will be lowered to save battery.
5,000 mAh battery
Now about the battery, the capacity is not half-hearted. It goes up to 5,000 mAh, and supports 18W charging.
Redmi 10 can also be used as a power bank, because it has reverse wired charging. Users can use Redmi 10 to charge other devices via cable, with a maximum power of 9W.
Dual stereo speakers
Using the Redmi 10 to watch videos or listen to songs should also be quite fun because of the dual stereo speakers, which can produce stereo sound from two directions, not from one speaker hole.
Redmi 10 is wrapped in three color choices, namely Carbon Gray, Pebble White, and Sea Blue with two different types of finishing, namely matte or glossy which can be selected according to the style and characteristics of the user.
There are two variants available, namely 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB, which will be sold starting September 22, 2021.
