Elon Musk, as promised, has sold his entire mansion. He seems to have settled on living in a rented tenement in Boca Chica, Texas, close to the SpaceX factory. What is the real reason behind this action?

Well, a theory has been put forward that the SpaceX and Tesla boss is purposely living in a small and remote house to get used to the next time he lands on Planet Mars. Indeed, he often indulges in the ambition to live and even die on the Red Planet.
Moreover, the rented house for around USD 50 thousand is very easy to build or assemble because it has been made at the factory. If a house is ever built on Mars, it's likely to be like that too, it should be easy to build quickly or portable.
Elon Musk also chose a secluded neighborhood in Boca Chica, away from the crowds, not in an environment that has beautiful scenery or complete facilities. Well, maybe this is also one way he got used to living on Mars.
"He rents on a land that is gloomy, not glamorous. Then to build a colony on Mars effectively, the building must be erected easily and quickly. This is similar to the Boxabl house that Elon Musk now lives in," wrote The Atlantic.
"Elon Musk could have lived anywhere. But he chose Boca Chica, an area that is just vast tracts of land and a 40-minute drive from civilization. An area that, in some ways, provides an atmosphere of life like on Mars," they wrote.
