The iOS 27, watchOS 27, iPadOS 27, visionOS 27, macOS 27 Golden Gate, and tvOS 27 operating system updates are now available for download on supported devices. With version 27 of these operating systems, smarter, context-aware Siri capabilities are available across all platforms, with the exception of tvOS 27.
Another introduced feature is iPhone Handoff support, which enables the sharing of a single eSIM across two iPhones. However, this feature is currently supported only in the United States and Germany and requires an additional subscription plan from a telecommunications carrier.
Additionally, the transparency level of Liquid Glass can now be customized in greater detail to suit user preferences. The AirDrop system is also capable of transferring files up to 80% faster.
Apple has confirmed that all devices currently running iOS 26 will receive the iOS 27 update. A total of 30 iPhone models will receive these new features. The complete list of supported iPhone models is provided below.
