This mystery has been partially unveiled following the appearance of the chip's Geekbench 7 benchmark scores online. It recorded a score of 4,006 in the single-core test and 11,460 in the multi-core test.
The A20 Pro's single-core score surpasses the 3,769 points achieved by the M5 Max chip found in the 16-inch MacBook Pro. It only trails in the multi-core test, as it features just 6 CPU cores compared to the 16 cores in the M5 Max (which scored 35,656).
For those who have pre-ordered the three latest 2026 iPhone models, rest assured that the chip's performance matches its high price point in Malaysia. The iPhone 18 Pro, powered by the A20 Pro chip, will go on sale in Malaysia on September 18.
