OPPO Reno6 highlights the ability to accommodate user gaming activities. To emphasize the character of Reno6 as a gaming smartphone, OPPO collaborated with Idol game group AOV, WaVe.
"OPPO is collaborating again with Arena of Valor (AOV), this is our fourth collaboration with AOV after first starting in 2017 with F3 Plus devices then F5 and in 2020 yesterday with Reno5 and A74 4G. We promise a special collaboration between AOV and Reno6 which will be well received by Ofans and AOV gamers.
Previously, OPPO had collaborated with AOV at the AOV Star League (ASL) B Series event, which had started its competition since early September. Now, OPPO's collaboration with AOV through the WaVe idol group will soon make its first debut.
Before WaVe was formed, the four AOV girls went through a selection process titled AOV ID4L 2020 which was participated by a total of 26 candidates. This audition took place on October 21, 2020 ago and each Challengers will be asked to vote to choose the 8 best candidates. Based on the results of the voting, Sinestrea, Diao Chan, Liliana, and Yena were elected as WaVe members after getting the highest votes among the other candidates.
Collaboration with WaVe is OPPO's way of demonstrating the capabilities of the OPPO Reno6 in gaming activities. This smartphone is supported by a Snapdragon 720G processor which has advantages in running various types of games. OPPO Reno6 is also supported by 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory.
To smoothen the performance of smartphones in running applications, OPPO Ren6 is given a new feature of RAM Expansion. This feature allows users to take advantage of the unused portion of the 128 GB UFS 2.1 storage to be allocated as RAM. Users can allocate 2 GB, 3 GB, up to 5 GB into virtual RAM. That way, in total, the total Reno6 RAM can reach 13 GB.
Another embedded feature, namely Hyper Boost. Works to increase touch sensitivity and game response, reduce lag, increase frame rates, and increase scene loading times.
One of the features that support gaming on OPPO Reno6 is Quick Startup. This feature is part of ColorOS 11, which identifies favorite games that are played the most while remaining active in the background. With this feature, Reno6 will create a shortcut to go directly to the game page with one click without having to go through a time-consuming loading process.
OPPO Reno6 also has a Game Assistant feature that helps users access game settings quickly, simply by dragging the window from the top side of the screen. Here, users can block notifications, alarms, gestures, messages and calls so as not to interfere with the game.
