iPhone 14 Pro has a 48 MP camera and carries a punch hole

Not to mention the iPhone 13 is available in the market, rumors of its successor have sprung up. The latest news reveals that the iPhone 14 Pro will carry a 48 MP camera.

As is known for the past few years, Apple has always installed a 12 MP camera on the iPhone. This is very different from Android phones, the manufacturers are competing to bring a camera with a high megapixel camera.

But it can't be denied, even though the size is only 12 MP the quality of the iPhone camera shots is considered superior to Android phones with 108 MP cameras. You can imagine what would happen if the iPhone 14 Pro really brought 48 MP.

The news that the iPhone 12 Pro has a 48 MP camera was blown by the famous analyst Ming Chi-Kuo. Not only the main camera, Kuo said the iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max ultra-wide cameras will carry the same size.

It is unknown if Apple will make any changes to the iPhone 14's camera settings.

In addition to talking about the size of the rear camera, Kuo revealed about the notch on the 2022 iPhone. Apple has indeed reduced the size of the iPhone 13 notch to be 20% smaller than its predecessor, but the successor will be free of 'bangs' at all.

Instead, the Cupertino-based tech giant will adopt a punch hole. Rumors about this had previously been revealed by well-known leaker Jon Prosser in early September.

The punch-hole position is said to be in the middle similar to what we see on Samsung Galaxy flagships. It is believed that Apple will place the Face ID sensor under the display so that the Apple team can eliminate the need for a notch.

Another leak, Apple is said to be replacing the 'Mini' model with an affordable 'Max' offering next year. It will be a 6.7-inch model with the same specs and features as the standard iPhone 14.

There is speculation that the model will be called the iPhone 14 Max. However, it is said that the model will be priced under USD 900.

This will surely attract a lot of buyers who want a widescreen experience on the iPhone but don't want to use the Pro Max version because of the exorbitant price.
