Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Will Have a Built-in S Pen Stylus?

Samsung is rumored to be shutting down the Galaxy Note line, but they will still present the S Pen stylus in the Galaxy S and Galaxy Z Fold lines. The S Pen Stylus will also be present in the Galaxy S22 Ultra, but with a few changes.

As is known, the Galaxy S21 Ultra is the first phone in the Galaxy S series to be equipped with an S Pen stylus. Due to limited space in the phone body, the stylus is sold separately and must be stored in a special case.

The Galaxy S22 Ultra will reportedly solve this problem by providing space to store the S Pen stylus in its body, similar to the previous Galaxy Note models. According to a leak from tipster Ice Universe citing two independent sources, the design of the Galaxy S22 Ultra will be modified to accommodate the S Pen stylus.

Quoted from GSM Arena, Friday (9/24/2021) the display of the Galaxy S22 Ultra will have a 19.3:9 ratio, the same as that used by the Galaxy Note20 Ultra. For comparison, all variants of the Galaxy S21 have a screen with a 20:9 ratio.

This means that the body of the Galaxy S22 Ultra will be slightly wider than the Galaxy S21 Ultra, and allow the S Pen stylus to be stored built-in in the body.

In addition, the design of the Galaxy S22 Ultra will also be made more square at the corners when compared to the Galaxy S21 series, but will not be as boxy as the Galaxy Note series.

Despite having to provide a place to store the S Pen stylus, the Galaxy S22 Ultra will not sacrifice battery capacity. This flagship phone is rumored to have a 5,000 mAh battery, equivalent to the battery capacity of the Galaxy S21 Ultra and 500 mAh larger than the Galaxy Note20 Ultra.

Although there have been several leaks about the Galaxy S22 line, there is still no rendering of the Galaxy S22 Ultra design that confirms this latest leak. The launch of the Galaxy S22 Ultra is also a few months away, so the accuracy of all these rumors is still a question mark.
