Survey: 70% of people want to buy Huawei if they use Google

News site PhoneArena conducted a survey to find out how many people would be willing to use Huawei phones if they returned to Google. The answer is surprising.

As is known, in 2019 the Huawei mobile phone brand was blacklisted for US trade. As a result, Huawei is not allowed to use services using Android and Google Mobile Services (GMS) such as Gmail, YouTube, and Google Maps.

It turns out that the survey results show that almost 70% of the 9,952 respondents said they would buy a Huawei phone if there were Google services.

As many as 14.47% of them still use Huawei smartphones even though there are no Google services. This figure is considered solid where they are still sympathetic to Huawei and loyal to Google.

Only less than 5% of them don't want to buy Huawei despite Google's services and around 11% are ready to reconsider buying Huawei phones at affordable prices.

Since not using Google services, Huawei has decided to create and develop its own operating system, namely Harmony OS, which was launched in early June 2021.

Even this Android competitor OS in a short time since its launch date has been used by more than 10 million gadgets. The number has now increased to more than 70 million users.

Not only that the developers of this OS have reached more than 4 million registered, these numbers will still continue to grow.

Huawei has built HarmonyOS with cross-platform integration and multi-device support. In other words, the operating system will also enter a number of smart products, including IoT (Internet of things) and even smart home appliances as well.
