4 Leaked Apple Products That Will Be Released Tonight at the Unleashed Event

Just a month after the launch of the iPhone 13, Apple is ready to hold its next event. The event titled Unleashed will be held on Monday 18/10/2021.

In the invitation and the uploaded teaser video, Apple did not reveal what devices they would launch at this event. But there are still a lot of products that Apple hasn't announced at the iPhone 13 launch.

What products will Apple announce tonight? Here's the leak

1. MacBook Pro

Apple seems to be taking advantage of this event to announce the new MacBook Pro. This new generation of laptops will reportedly carry a new design with screens measuring 14 and 16 inches.

Analysts Mark Gurman and Ming-Chi Kuo previously revealed that the MacBook Pro will have an iPhone 12-style flat-sided design with a redesigned MagSafe port. Apple is also reportedly going to eliminate the Touch Bar, which has been a key feature of the MacBook Pro since 2016.

With its new design, the MacBook Pro is rumored to come with more ports, including an SD card reader, HDMI and MagSafe, which will complement the Thunderbolt port.

In addition to the new design, the MacBook Pro is also expected to carry the latest generation of Apple-made chipsets. This chipset will be the successor of the M1 chip which was launched last year with more powerful performance.

The alleged M1X (or maybe M2) chip will come in two versions: both with 10 CPU cores (eight high-performance and two high-efficiency) and 16 or 32 graphics cores.

2. Mac Mini Pro

Gurman also previously reported that Apple would launch a more powerful Mac Mini, and come with the same chipset that the new MacBook Pro will use. This new generation Mac Mini will also have more ports than the Mac Mini M1.

This rumor is interesting considering that the Mac Mini M1 offers quite a lot of port options when compared to other Mac M1 lines, namely USB-A, HDMI, two Thunderbolt, and optional 10-gigabit ethernet.

3. AirPods

AirPods may be more suitable to launch with the iPhone 13, but these wireless earbuds were actually absent at last month's event. Though rumors about the presence of a new generation of AirPods have been blowing for a long time.

Earlier reports from Gurman, Kuo and Nikkei said Apple was developing a successor to the AirPods with a new design similar to its Pro version, such as shorter stems, replaceable tips, and longer battery life.

4. Mac OS Monterey

Apple announced iOS 15, iPadOS 15 and MacOS Monterey together at the WWDC 2021 event. But when iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 were released to the public, MacOS Monterey was still in beta.

It's a bit odd that Apple launches a new MacBook Pro but still runs macOS Big Sur. So there is a possibility that MacOS Monterey will be launched to the public at this event.
