Acer Predator Orion 7000, First PC with Intel Alder Lake


 From the line of products released at the Next@Acer 2021 event, there is a Predator Orion 7000 desktop PC. What's interesting? This gaming PC uses a 12th generation Intel processor, aka Alder lake.

In addition to relying on Alder Lake, the Orion 7000 also uses the fastest GPU from Nvidia, namely the RTX 3080 and RTX 3090. Then the RAM can be selected with a capacity of up to 64GB DDR5-4000, and an M.2 NVME SSD slot (filled with 1 slot with a capacity of 1TB PCIe). 4.0), and can also be filled with storage with a 2.5-inch form factor.



Regarding the cooler, Acer named it Predator FrostBlade 2.0 which consists of two 140mm fans at the front and a 120mm fan at the back. Then the processor cooler is AIO with a 240mm radiator mounted on top of the case.



This cooling system is promised by Acer to provide an aesthetic appearance as well as good thermal management.


The thin, curved blades of the FrostBlade fan are designed to increase airflow smoothly without causing turbulence and dissipate heat quickly.


In addition, the tightly sealed, wear-resistant fan bearings prevent lubricant leakage and dust ingress to maintain stability and extend the life of the computer.



Its port support is USB-C 3.1 gen 1, three USB-A 3.1 gen 1, two audio ports on the front. The ports on the motherboard have three USB-A 3.1 gen 2, one USB-C 3.2 gen 2, two USB 2.0, three audio ports, and it supports Windows 11.
