Apple Releases iOS 15.0.1 Brings Full Storage Bug Fix on iPhone

After iOS 15 was released, many users complained about the full storage space bug after installing. Well Apple just shipped the iOS 15.0.1 update to fix it.

The update also includes a fix for an issue reported last week where iPhone 13 owners had difficulty unlocking their phones with their Apple Watch while wearing a mask. This issue forces the user to continuously enter the PIN code when in a public place.

Other bugs that have also been revealed by iPhone users who have installed iOS 15 include touchscreen responsiveness issues and others. This issue affects the tap to wake feature on iPhone, as well as when interacting with other aspects of the iOS interface.

Some users reported that they were able to solve this problem by rebooting the problematic iPhone. Some users also say they simply touch the iPhone screen a few times to wake up the screen.

Here's the full changelog from iOS 15.0.1:

Unlocking iPhone with Apple Watch may not work on iPhone 13 models

Along with iOS 15.0.1, Apple also released iPadOS 15.0.1 which has the same fixes for the Settings app and audio meditation.

Apple also said that they are planning a fix for a Core Animation bug that prevented some developers from taking full advantage of the ProMotion 120Hz display for their app animations.

So if you find any of the above bugs on your iPad or iPhone it is recommended to install the update as soon as possible

You can update to iOS 15.0.1 on an iPhone or iPadOS 15.0.1 on an iPad by opening the Settings app, selecting the General option, then selecting Software Update.
