Dime Quality Kids Content Won't Pay YouTube!

Google announced new policies and guidelines for YouTube creators to follow in order to create high-quality video content, especially content for children.

Where starting next month, YouTube will demonetize channels that are targeted to be watched by children if they do not follow YouTube's policies.

Demonetization itself is a process where YouTube will block video creators who can make money through AdSense or ads. So even if the video has been watched thousands or even millions of times, the creator will not get paid for the video.

YouTube also warns creators not to create low-quality video content such as content that only focuses on promoting brands and products that show excessive consumption and even encourage bad behavior such as bullying, dishonesty and others.

In addition, YouTube also said that creators who subscribe to the policy will be removed from the YouTube Partner Program.

YouTube's move is part of Google's efforts to make its video streaming services YouTube and YouTube Kids more appropriate for children and families.

Earlier this year, YouTube announced the availability of extended parental controls for children and teens. Recently, YouTube implemented new security measures to protect children on its various platforms.

"Our primary goal is to foster a safe and enriching family environment while rewarding trusted content creators who create high-quality children's and family content," Google said of this latest policy change.
