Huawei presents a new version of the MatePad 11 tablet with larger internal memory and a more premium color choice. This version is a refresh of the MatePad 11 line which was first launched last August.
This new version of MatePad 11 was launched to meet very high consumer interest. This shows the increasing public need for portable devices, especially when they have to work or study from home.
"This provides an option for consumers so they don't have to struggle with PCs or laptops that are quite large and heavy in dimensions," said Edy in the HUAWEI MatePad 11 New Colors Media Roundtable, Tuesday (5/10/2021).
"This time we provide another solution for consumers by relaunching the MatePad 11 with a new color and larger storage capacity," he continued.
If previously only available in Matte Gray, the MatePad 11 now comes in Olive Green. This Olive Green variant comes with a leather-like texture that makes the tablet easier to grip and looks more premium.
The chipset used is still the same, namely Snapdragon 865, with 6GB of RAM. Huawei increased its internal memory capacity, from 128GB to 256GB.
Other specifications are still the same as the MatePad 11 Matte Gray variant, such as a 10.9-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels and an 86% screen-to-body ratio. This screen is also supported by a 120 Hz refresh rate and DCI-P3 gamut.
A number of productivity support features are also embedded in the new version of the MatePad 11. This tablet is equipped with Wi-Fi 6, speakers from Harman Kardon, four microphones with AI noise reduction features, and an 8 MP front camera.
MatePad 11 uses the HarmonyOS 2.0 operating system which is equipped with Huawei App Gallery and Petal Search to download applications. This tablet already supports wireless mouse, magnetic keyboard, and M-Pencil stylus.
