Latest Specifications for iPad Mini 6

Apple officially introduced its latest generation iPad Mini, namely the iPad Mini 6. It was released together with the iPhone 13 in a virtual launch event called "California Streaming" which was held in early September. Here are the specifications of the iPad mini 6.

In its design, there are bezels that surround the iPad Mini 6 screen, especially at the top and bottom. The iPad mini 6 is now much thinner than its predecessor, the iPad Mini 5. It has a slightly wider screen size with a diagonal of 8.3 inches (1,488 x 2,266 pixels).

This tablet is also equipped with a Liquid Retina Display screen that has a brightness level of 500 nits complete with True Tone color technology. Now Apple has put the Touch ID sensor into the power button and no longer includes Face ID on the iPad Mini 6.

As for the material used, Apple claims that this new tablet is made of 100% recycled aluminum so it is environmentally friendly. In addition, the iPad Mini 6 comes with four new color variants, namely Space Gray, Pink, Purple, and Starlight.

Even for the innards, there is also an increase where the previous iPad mini 5 still uses the A12 Bionic which can be said to have been left behind by three generations. While the iPad Mini 6 is powered by the A15 Bionic chipset, the same as that used by the iPhone 13 lineup.

This iPad Mini 6 has two options for storage memory, namely 64 GB and 256 GB. And most recently, for connectivity, the iPad Mini 6 already supports 5G networks.

iPad Mini 6 now also uses a USB Type-C connector instead of Lightning, so you can easily connect other devices such as digital cameras, flash drives, and more.
