YouTube introduced a new feature, namely 'Continue Watching', as the name implies, this feature allows users to continue watching YouTube videos that were originally watched on the mobile platform and then switch to YouTube Web on desktop.
Previously, YouTube videos on smartphones would disappear when they wanted to be watched on the YouTube web, so users had to search for the title of the video and find the part of the last watched time.
But thanks to the 'Continue Watching' feature, users no longer need to bother looking for the minute when the video was watched or even have to retype the video title.
Once logged in to YouTube web the user will notice a mini player is displayed in the lower right corner of the screen. And of course to use this feature the user must use the same Google account on a smartphone or computer.
This feature will be released for YouTube users on iOS/Android smartphones, Web, and Smart TVs, especially those based on Android TV.
This feature is still in the process of being rolled out to all users in stages, so we'll just have to wait.
