Sun's Death Prediction and the Future Fate of the Earth

Our sun, like all stars, is not eternal. According to scientists, about 5 billion years from now, the Sun will enter the end of its life. Well, what was the condition of the Solar System like at that time?

Astronomers have just discovered the distant Solar System, which gives a picture of what the future of our Solar System will look like including the Earth. Unfortunately, Earth may not be able to survive, while Jupiter is probably safe.

Recent research published in the journal Nature reveals research on Jupiter -like planets that still exist and orbit dead white dwarf stars. The Solar System is close to the center of the Milky Way Galaxy and was detected by the WM Keck Observatory in Hawaii.

It is concluded that some planets in our Solar System, based on the fate of the distant Solar System, are able to survive even though the Sun will die far in the future.

"This evidence confirms that planets orbiting long distances can continue to exist after their stars have died," said study leader Joshua Blackman of the University of Tasmania, Australia.

"Because the system is an analogy of our Solar System, it is indicated that Jupiter and Saturn may survive the phase of the Sun becoming a red giant, when it runs out of nuclear fuel and destroys itself," he explained.

Towards the end of its life, the Sun will go through several phases until death. It will grow into a horrible red monster. At that time according to scientific estimates, the Earth was not safe. The earth seems uninhabitable, even ruined.

Then, the Sun will become a dead white dwarf star and cold and dim. It is this kind of star that orbits planets in the distant Solar System.

So with the potential for the destruction of the Earth, at that time it is possible that humans, assuming it still exists, can move to the planet Jupiter or Saturn in order to remain able to survive. But other difficulties will arise.

"We will not be able to rely too long on the heat of the Sun which is only in the form of white dwarfs," said the researchers.
