This is the most popular social media for teenagers, not Instagram

 


A survey from financial firm Piper Sandler titled "Taking Stock With Teens" revealed that teen users, particularly in the United States, dislike Facebook and Twitter the most.

This survey involved 10,000 teenagers in Uncle Sam's country with lots of questions from the brands they buy regularly to what their favorite platform is.


And the result is that 35% most like social media Snapchat, the second position is TikTok with 30%. While Instagram is in third position with a percentage of 22%.



Then Facebook and Twitter are in last place with the numbers very far apart, namely only 2% of teenagers who make these two platforms their favorites.



Analysts assess Twitter is always open to younger users even less than a decade many users actively flock to Twitter especially when there are no older users.


These conditions make them feel free to post strange things, even stupid jokes such as memes and other small tweets.


However, in the following years Twitter has not only become more 'noisy' and has more users, but this platform has also been used as a political medium.

This makes teenagers think Facebook is no longer a fun place to 'hang out' for them.
