Even though it has been rolling for a long time and has presented many exciting matches, the English League seems to keep coals in the husk. That's because when the Corona pandemic has not been fully controlled, there are still many Premier League players who refuse to be vaccinated.
Only a third of players have been given two doses of the Corona vaccine. Then only 7 of the 20 teams competing in the Premier League have vaccinated half the squad of players. In fact, there are 3 clubs that have not been able to fulfill 10% of the player's vaccine.
What caused it? It is suspected that one of the main culprits is that many players believe in conspiracy theories that call vaccines dangerous. There are also those who believe in hoaxes that Bill Gates has a specific agenda in funding the Corona vaccine.
"It's very frustrating and hard to know what, because some conspiracy theorists have really entered the dressing room," said a doctor who chose to remain anonymous, voicing his anxiety.
"There are senior players, smart men, believe in all things that don't make sense and believe in it. One of them told me that he doesn't need a vaccine because he can increase his immunity only with vitamins," he added.
"Part of what they believe from the internet is incredible. Players say that vaccines make them infertile, part of a plot involving Bill Gates, that the pandemic is just propaganda. The real problem is that they are also poisoning the minds of young players," he continued.
Not yet known how the solution to this problem that is considered quite strange. Especially in the Premier League, players who have not been vaccinated are still allowed to play, aka there is no coercion for the Corona vaccine.
