WhatsApp Data from iPhone Can Migrate to Pixel

After previously being available for Samsung flagship phones, now the WhatsApp data migration feature from iPhone can also be done to Pixel phones.

In an announcement on its official blog, Google stated that the feature is now available on all Pixel phones and in the future it will be available on all phones released with the default Android 12 OS.

As is known, before this feature, transferring WhatsApp data from iPhone to Android was very difficult, even almost impossible. With the presence of this feature, users can easily transfer WhatsApp data from iPhone to Android.

But unfortunately, until now there is no feature to do the opposite, namely transferring data from Android to iPhone.

The transfer process itself is fairly easy. All you need is the latest version of the WhatsApp application on both iPhone and Android, and a USB-C and Lightning cable.

When activating a new Android phone, there will be an option to scan the QR code using the iPhone whose WhatsApp will be transferred, which will then start the transfer process via the QR code.

The process is more or less the same as what Samsung previously explained when they released the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3.

Google ensures that during this transfer process no WhatsApp messages enter WhatsApp on iPhone. So no messages are tucked away during the transfer process.

Oh yes, according to Google, cellphone makers can also include this feature in their cellphones when updating to Android 12. So there is still a possibility that even current cellphones can get this feature.
