Why you should avoid shopping at Shopee and switch to Lazada

 



Shopee may be a big name  among online shoppers in Malaysia. But the fact is that Shopee  is not a safe shopping platform because there are many dishonest sellers on this platform. If you say Shopee offers a cheaper price and maybe among us who are easily deceived by advertising campaigns run by shopee. 

I was one of shopee user that was cheated by the Seller at Shopee Platform . For the claim process takes a long time. Maybe we will say shopee is safe because our money will be paid to the seller once the item are received. But the fact is if after payment is released to the seller the shopee unable to get the money back for a refund. This happened to me. This is a true review really happened to me. After finding the item cannot be used, I contacted the shoppe for the claim back process. This is because of the  seller is willing to give a refund to me back but must go through the shopee but fact is that the refund cannot be done because the money has been released to the seller.

 After contacting the shopee, they opens a case for the claim process. I have been asked to show proof of the item purchased not working. Evidence must be in the form of  photos and 1 minute videos. So I have sent the requested information to the shopee. And they promise to settle this problem within 3 days. But despite what happened after 5 days there was no response from the shopee. Against i have contacted the shoppe and surprise me the case was closed by the shopee with the reason  that the money has been released to the seller. Shopee asked me to resend the evidence once against.So I have sent it back to the shopee and remark will complete this claim process very quickly. Strange not because I had need to send the evidence again. While evidence has been sent before. This situation shows that the shopee does not care about the buyer's complaint.


After a few days of waiting , Shopee has asked me to resend the purchased item to the seller. So I have used a prepaid poslaju envelope and has sent the goods and a copy of the delivery receipt. I have sent a proof item copy of the delivery receipt to the shopee with a photo of the item I returned. But after sending an email to shopee. The shopee informed that they could not pay because there was no postal payment receipt. I have informed me to use a prepaid poslaju envelope. But the reason is not accepted by the shopee. My conclusion is here,  shoppee do not want to return the money they have relased to the seller. Shopees only inconvenience the buyer in various ways so that they do not have to return the money to the buyer. This is no way how the shopee works and relinquishes responsibility.


This case will probably happen to you one day. Honestly say I am disappointed with the shopee and I will return shopping at Lazada. 

Most sellers in Shopee are sellers in Lazada as well. If you want to compare the price is almost the same as that offered at the shopee. If you say shopee offer free shipping the fact now many conditions need to be met to use such free shipping. Most sellers do not offer free shipping even in ads on free shipping display. This is a scam committed by a shopee to a buyer like us without us since we are deceived by the actual promotion is not true.


I once bought an item at Lazada which was a Laptop and when I received the item it was found to be damaged. I made a complaint to Lazada Customer Service and they asked me to print return notes with shipping costs pay by Lazada. I just need to print paste and post to poslaju don't have to pay anything for the cost of returning the goods.

In addition, Lazada's customer service is better than shopee. I don’t have to send the same document many times to customer service. Frank I say Shopee customer service is the worst. The lazada is more friendly to customers, because after a few days I called the lazada they said they had checked and would make a replacement.


Why Seller at Lazada is better than Seller at Shopee. In fact the strict conditions and regulations imposed by Lazada cause the environment which is safer. Because in Lazada sellers are given a certain period of time to post the goods, otherwise a penalty will be imposed by Lazada. At that's why most lazada items will be posted faster than shopee sellers. Sometimes in shoppe status it says ready stock but vice versa not ready stock. The time period given by the shopee is also unreliable because the shopee account system automatically changes the delivery date after payment made. This is a scam committed by the shoppee to his customers.


I write this article, because  this is an true honest review of popular shopping platforms in Malaysia the fact is not good no matter what his service. Frankly, I don't care if the shopee gives a refund or not because the refund value is only RM70. But what I care about is the way the shopee manages the customer’s case. There may be many more out there who have had the same case as me and have had experience the same as me. But as an editor for a tech and news website, I feel it’s my responsibility to share it with all readers.
