Konami Delays 2022 eFootball Update

Konami postponed the 1.0 update for eFootball 2022 which was originally scheduled to be released on November 11 to spring 2022.

At the same time, they also released update 0.9.1 which was previously scheduled for release on October 28 but was delayed. The update contains a number of bug fixes for the PC and console versions of eFootball 2022.

In addition, Konami also refunded Premium Player Pack customers, which should only work after the 1.0 update was released. As a result, customers have to re-download the game to continue playing.

The Premium Player Pack contains 2,800 in-game coins and some items to help players build their teams. Konami did not reveal when they will launch or reopen orders for this DLC.

eFootball 2022 was released at the end of last September and is supposed to be a completely new game, also a successor to the previous line of PES games. In fact, eFootball 2022 is also the 25th anniversary of the game series.

After the previous year Konami only released PES 2021 which is a small update compared to PES 2020. So Konami actually has an additional year to develop eFootball 2022 which uses a completely new graphic engine.

eFootball 2022 is also supposed to be a free game that has identical displays on various platforms, whether consoles, PCs, or mobile devices. However, since its release, eFootball 2022 has become the worst-rated game on Steam.

Players also criticize the poor graphics quality -- for consoles and PCs -- because it's only equivalent to the graphics quality of mobile games. Likewise with the many bugs and the lack of features in the game.
