LG Releases Monitor for Content Creation, Gaming and Productivity

 




LG released a new line of monitors in the market. The device is claimed to be ideal for those who create content, play games and productivity.

LG UltraFine

LG UltraFine is a monitor variant specially developed with the latest color reproduction technology. Thus providing a screen display with more detail and richer colors.


There are two models presented, namely 27UP600 and 27UP850. Both have a 27-inch stretch screen with a typical LG design which has thin edges on all three sides. This is intentionally made so to reduce visual disturbances when the user looks at the screen.



Regarding color reproduction capabilities, both UltraFine monitor models carry 4K Ultra HD resolution. LG is also equipped with the HDR 400 feature.


This feature gives both of them the ability to reproduce colors with a wide exposure range so that image details look more dramatic. In addition, both of them also carry a color spectrum that fills 95% of the DCI-P3 space.


To support multimedia and gaming capabilities, both are equally made with the completeness of three features. In addition to AMD FreeSync and Dynamic Action Sync which handle optimal distortion reduction in fast-moving images, LG provides Black Stabilizer on both monitor models.


This feature is useful for increasing the appearance of the image on a dark background. "This feature is made to make it easier for players to see and find opponents who are hiding in the dark, giving them the advantage of reacting faster.


The LG UltraFine 27UP850 model is a higher variant. LG provides calibration tools that are equipped with Hardware Calibration Ready and LG Calibration Studio that make it easier for users to do jobs that require high color accuracy details such as graphic and video designs.


The monitor, the LG UltraFine 27UP850 is also equipped with integrated speakers with 5W power and the Waves MaxxStudio feature. In addition, to accompany its convenience, the LG UltraFine 27UP850 also has a USB Type-C interface facility.


Its existence in addition to being a charger for laptops also provides more speed in transferring data. Besides that, users of the LG UltraFine 27UP850 have wider monitor setting flexibility than the LG UltraFine 27UP600. In addition to the level of tilt, the direction of facing the LG UltraFine 27UP850 is also equipped with height and pivot settings.


LG UltraWide

The LG UltraWide series offers an elongated screen with an aspect ratio of 21:9. Equipped with a high resolution and a color spectrum of up to 99% sRGB, this unique shape allows users to perform tasks that require viewing multiple windows on one screen.


There are two models presented, namely 34WN80C and 34WP65G. Both have a 34-inch screen landscape but have different views. The LG UltraWide 34WN80C comes with a curved screen with a resolution of 3,440 x 1,440 pixels, while the LG 34WP65G screen appears flat at a resolution of 2,560 x 1,080 pixels.


With a horizontally elongated screen shape, these two monitors have more screen space which makes them reliable for jobs that require access and monitor multiple windows on one screen at the same time. IPS panel support also provides a wide viewing angle that allows users to clearly see the screen display from various angles.


Larger screen space allows users to view from various angles without visual distortion. As a result, this monitor can be a reliable friend to complete various tasks that require multi-tasking. Moreover, it is supported by the application of a 3-side virtually borderless thin frame design that makes the screen appear borderless.


LG UltraWide 34WP65G has more features to support the gaming experience. This monitor has 1ms Motion Blur Reduction technology which makes it more reliable in handling motion picture distortion. Plus the availability of AMD FreeSync, Dynamic Action Sync and Game Mode available in the LG 34WP65G.



Even with High Dynamic Range (HDR) image processing capabilities, the LG UltraWide 34WP65G leads the way with the availability of HDR400 even though the LG UltraWide 34WN80C has HDR10, which is the industry standard. But in terms of color space mastery, both have a relative level equivalent to 99% sRGB.


But for the flexibility of facing the screen, both provide equal comfort. In addition to tilt settings up to 15 degrees, both also provide users with the option to adjust the height up to 110mm.
