Lately, HP Android vendors have provided virtual RAM features that aim to boost performance. Xiaomi is one of them, what devices have it?
Xiaomi provides a feature called Memory Extension in MIUI 12.5. This allows users to add up to 3 GB of existing space in internet memory to be used as RAM.

How to Enable Virtual RAM
Make sure you have updated to MIUI version 12.5
Clean the internal memory, provide an empty slot of at least 5 GB
Go to Settings > Additional Settings > Memory Extension
To activate it, just slide the button to the right. The amount of memory used has been determined by Xiaomi, the numbers are different for each cellphone.
