Pikmin Bloom has been released and has reached 2 million downloads

Pikmin Bloom, a collaboration game between Nintendo and Niantic, is officially released on Android and iOS. This online game, has touched a total of 2 million downloads since its launch.

The results are quite good, considering that these numbers can be obtained in just the first two weeks. Where this game has previously been docked to Google Play and the App Store, on October 26 last.

According to Sensor Tower data, Pikmin Bloom has been downloaded by 2 million gamers. Derived from the Japanese players in the first position, then the second country came from the United States and third, namely England.

However, when compared to other Niantic games, unfortunately, it has not been able to beat the popularity of Pokemon GO. The number of downloads obtained reached 75 million downloads in the first two weeks. Then there's Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, with a lower figure of 12.4 million downloads.

When viewed in terms of its own income, Pikmin Bloom still cannot compete with its predecessors. So far, since its launch, it has only achieved revenue of USD 473,000.

Meanwhile, in the same time period, Harry Potter: Wizards Unite could generate USD 8 million. Then Pokemon Go, bigger up to USD 116 million.

Pikmin Bloom itself presents a simpler game mechanic, compared to hunting Pokemon. Players just need to walk, in order to grow flowers along the way and collect more Pikmin.

At the beginning of the game, you will be asked to do a tutorial, by walking 10 steps. Then gamers are provided with two red Pikmin, which can be fed so that they can continue to grow and accompany your journey to fertilize beautiful flowers.

This game also includes an Augmented Reality (AR) feature, to bring these cute characters into the real world. It is enough to point the camera at where Pikmin is, then the player can see it as if it were around the player.
