Poco M4 Pro 5G is officially launched globally. This phone was released as a refresher of the Poco M3 Pro 5G which was launched six months ago.
The Poco M4 Pro 5G certainly brings many improvements over its predecessor. The screen still uses an LCD panel, but its size is slightly larger, namely 6.6 inches.
This screen has an FHD+ resolution with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. The screen brightness level rose to 450 nits and is still protected by Gorilla Glass 3.
The performance of the Poco M4 PRo 5G is supported by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset which is made with 6nm processing. This chipset is combined with 4GB and 6GB RAM options, as well as 64GB and 128GB internal memory options.
From the back, the design of the Poco M4 Pro 5G looks similar to the Redmi Note 11 that just launched. It's just that the camera module is given a little Poco-style touch that makes it look different.
Although it looks like it has four cameras, the Poco M4 Pro 5G is actually only equipped with two rear cameras consisting of a 50 MP main camera and an 8 MP ultrawide lens with a 119-degree viewing angle. For taking selfies, there is a 16 MP front camera.
The battery capacity of the Poco M4 Pro 5G is still the same as its predecessor, which is 5,000 mAh. But the fast charging technology is upgraded to 33W and promises to be able to fully charge the battery in 59 minutes.
Poco M4 Pro 5G is also equipped with other supporting and connectivity features such as 5G, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, NFC, a microSD slot, and a fingerprint sensor integrated with the power button. This phone runs the Android 11 operating system wrapped in MIUI 12.5 for Poco, as quoted from GSM Arena, Wednesday (10/11/2021).
Poco M4 Pro 5G comes in three color options, namely Power Black, Poco Yellow and Cool Blue. This phone will be available globally on 11.11 (Singles' day), but it is not known when it will hit the global market.
