Apple recently released a cleaning cloth for $19, which, despite being quite expensive, is selling well. This rag immediately became the target of netizens' scorn, including Samsung.
The Galaxy Club website found that Samsung is giving away free cleaning cloths for Galaxy S20 users. Users can claim the cleaning cloth by registering via the Samsung Members app.
Samsung did not reveal what the advantages of the cleaning cloth are. But on the Samsung Members application page, it is written that the cloth measures 20 x 20 cm, as quoted from iMore, Wednesday (11/10/2021).
The size of the cleaning cloth offered by Samsung is larger than the cloth made by Apple which measures 16 x 16 cm. Apple claims its cleaning cloth is made of soft, non-abrasive materials that can be used to clean all types of screens on Apple devices.
In its description, Samsung does not mention the name of Apple or Apple Polishing Cloth. But looking at this promotion schedule, it's not impossible for Samsung to take advantage of the moment of the launch of the Apple Polishing Cloth to satirize its competitors.
Unfortunately, this cleaning cloth offer seems to only be valid in Germany. The cleaning cloths offered are also limited, only 1,000 units and users may only be able to bring home one cloth.
Samsung itself has several times ridiculed Apple after the launch of its new product. One example, Samsung quipped at the newly launched Apple 13 because it still uses a notch and does not yet have a folding screen design.
