Garena Free Fire announced that it had carried out periodic maintenance in January 2022. The goal was to bring Illuminate-themed updates. So what's the list?
It is known that Survivors, as Free Fire players in Indonesia will be able to access the new Charge Buster weapon, then new matchmaking in Craftland and character updates.
Today's maintenance has started since 11 am this morning until we can't confirm the time.
Free Fire Update Details January 2022
Character
Skyler: New feature (Riptide Rhythm) added. Players can now hold aim for better precision.
Olivia: Revived players will gain more HP (70HP -> 80HP).
Xayne: Increases Gloo Wall and shields damage (100% -> 150%). Last longer (10s -> 15s) and shorter cooldown (100s -> 80s).
Maxim: Mushroom eating speed and using Med Kit is slower (30% -> 25%).
Clash Squad
Alpine's new map is available in Clash Squad and Clash Squad ranked modes.
New Hangar areas and the Nurek Dam added to the Bermuda map.
Bermuda map adjustments at the Equator, Mars Electric and Mill.
The bonus airdrop will land on the map on every spin, in classic Clash Squad mode.
Battle Royale
Added the Nurek Dam area from Bermuda Remastered to the Bermuda map.
Modified the time and speed of the first few safe zones to shrink. To increase the speed of each match in classic Battle Royale mode.
Players who parachute after revival, will receive a level 1 helmet, level 1 vest, G18 and face the Safe Zone by default.
Weapons and Equipment
A new weapon called Charge Buster is added.
Weapon adjustments for M1014, SPAS12, M1887, MAG-7, UMP, MP5, MP40, P90, Thompson, MAC10, Mini Uzi, Vector, M500, SCAR, AUG, Kingfisher, Flashbang.
Protection from explosives added to the vest.
Training Grounds
New enemy-shaped targets added to the Training Grounds.
Gameplay
Weapon tags will be displayed on the player's backpack, for quick reference of use.
Craftland
New matchmaking will be available in Craftland. The most popular random map will be allocated for the match.
