Leading technology company OPPO has successfully auctioned 1 unit of OPPO Find N which is its first foldable flagship smartphone. Currently, the OPPO Find N is only marketed in China, but for auction purposes, OPPO presents this 1 unit exclusively in Indonesia.
The OPPO Find N auction was conducted to help donate education funds. The event took place on January 21, 2022 and successfully auctioned the OPPO Find N for Rp 100 million. In addition, OPPO also collected additional donations of IDR 18 million for a total of IDR 118 million which will be handed over to the Happy Hearts Indonesia Foundation.
"OPPO Indonesia is committed to supporting education programs, especially in disadvantaged areas or areas affected by natural disasters in Indonesia. We believe that all children have the right to get access to better education under any conditions, thus Indonesian children will be able to become innovative figures and can contribute to the country. The construction of good learning facilities and environments is expected to motivate students to go to school," said OPPO Indonesia Chief Creative Officer Patrick Owen in a written statement, Tuesday (25/1/2022).
"A similar auction and donation program has been carried out by OPPO before. Through the OPPO Find X2 Series auction, OPPO has succeeded in constructing several PAUD schools in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). This auction program adds the number of schools intended for Indonesian children OPPO's support for education is part of a sustainable long-term program," added Patrick.
Responding to the education fund donation provided by OPPO, the Chief Executive Officer of the Happy Hearts Indonesia Foundation, Sylvia Beiwinkler, also responded positively. He explained that through the Happy Hearts Indonesia Foundation, the donation would later be channeled for the advancement of education in Indonesia.
"We are happy to be able to help receive and channel support from OPPO Indonesia for the advancement of education in Indonesia. After previously helping the construction of schools in NTT, this time support can build more schools so that it opens up opportunities for Indonesian children to get access to better education , said Sylvia.

As a folding smartphone, OPPO Find N certainly has a flexible screen. This smartphone is equipped with a 5.49-inch screen on the outside, and 7.1 inches with an 8.4:9 aspect ratio on the inside.
Switching to the flexion hinge or curved hinge on the OPPO Find N unites 136 components with extreme precision up to 0.01 mm. OPPO claims, Flexion Hinge can move smoothly like the movement of joints in the human body. OPPO has also equipped Find N with software specifically designed for folding smartphones, namely by adjusting the user interface to make it more compatible with Music, Notes, and Camera applications.
As for the screen, Find N has 12 layers of Serene Display with a 0.03mm Flexion UTG (ultra-thin glass) coating, which is claimed to provide good protection. OPPO itself promises that the Serene Display can be folded and opened smoothly up to more than 200,000 times without causing crease lines on the screen.
This OPPO smartphone, which was auctioned for Rp. 100 million, is also equipped with the latest hand-gesture feature so that it can perform several activities at once with two different displays. In addition, users can also perform a pressing motion with four fingers to change the full-screen window into a floating window.
Find N is equipped with three cameras consisting of a 50 MP Sony IMX 766 main sensor, a 16 MP ultra-wide lens, and a 13 MP telephoto lens, as well as a selfie camera on the inside and outside screens.
