Samsung Galaxy A03 Core Review: Magnificent Screen

Starting 2022, Samsung immediately deployed the Galaxy A03 Core for the entry-level smartphone market. We review how good this gadget is to accompany your activities.

Design

The first time we saw the Galaxy A03 Core had a large body. How not, this cellphone has body dimensions of 164.2 x 75.9 x 9.1 mm combined with a weight of 211 grams.

The size of the Galaxy A03 Core feels quite good and forgets that the device is a beginner class. It was just realized that this HP material on the back is made of plastic.

Even so, the mat material makes you feel like you don't need an additional casing, because the material is not slippery.

The right, left, and top side views of the bezel are fairly thin for an entry-level smartphone, but not at the bottom which is quite large.

Turning to the left side, there are two nano-sized SIM card slots and a microSD slot for up to 1TB. On the right side, there are volume and power buttons.

While the top side is plain and the bottom side is a speaker. Then, the old school thing found a micro USB port and a 3.5 mm audio jack.

On the back of this phone, only decorated with one resolution main camera and below it there is a flash.

Screen

The next plus is about the screen. The large body of the Galaxy A03 Core is offset by a magnificent 6.5-inch screen combined with a water drop-style front camera.

This HD resolution or 720 x 1600 is indeed not as comfortable as you look at cellphones of three million and above. But the brightness is okay, because the resulting color is pretty good.

It should be noted, this phone is not protected by Gorilla Glass. This means that the owner needs additional funds to provide more protection for the Galaxy A03 Core.

In addition, in the sales package, Samsung does not include a casing. So the good thing is, you buy this phone and also the casing.

Camera

Talking about the camera on the Galaxy A03 Core, it's a good idea not to have high expectations. Samsung provides a 5MP f/2.2 camera for selfie needs and an 8MP f/2.0 main camera.

If you take pictures of still objects, during the day or in sufficient light, then this camera phone can be relied on. However, if it is night and the object is moving, it will be difficult to get the photo you want.

Performance and Battery

As a one-millionth phone, Samsung doesn't seem to want the operating system (OS) on the Galaxy A03 Core only B quality, this gadget is still following the trend of smartphones supported by Android 11 Go Edition with 1.6GHz Octa-Core Unisoc SC9863A processor with IMG8322 GPU.

Having 2GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM is also fairly reasonable for a beginner phone. If you need extra, you can use the microSD slot up to 1TB.

We tested these specs. When asked to multitask, the Galaxy A03 Core can run several applications at once. But it's not very agile, if you're used to holding middle to upper class HP.

However, for those of you who have just migrated from 3G to 4G, this device can be used properly for the purposes of accessing online learning, accessing YouTube, streaming, playing light games.

Interestingly, the Galaxy A03 Core has a 5,000 mAh battery capacity that makes you feel at home for long.

Our Opinion

Galaxy A03 Core offers users the experiences they need, such as online learning, streaming thin films, surfing social media (social media), or playing light games.

The old-school impression of this cellphone, such as the micro USB port, 3.5 mm audio jack, and plastic materials are not too distracting.

Samsung priced the Galaxy A03 Core at IDR 1.2 million, which includes a data cable, adapter, and of course a user guide.
