Oppo Pad tablet released using Snapdragon 870, how much does it cost?


 Along with the release of three Find X5 phones, Oppo released its first tablet, the Oppo Pad.

The Oppo Pad is an 11-inch tablet that uses the Snapdragon 870 system on a chip (SoC). In the purchase option, there is a stylus called Oppo Pencil. The tablet itself looks premium with a metal frame and frosted glass behind it.


It is only 6.99 mm thick and weighs 507 grams. The screen uses an LTPS LCD panel with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. This screen supports HDR10 content and has a symmetrical bezel, which also houses the 8MP selfie camera on the side bezel.




The back sports a dual tone display, with Oppo branding in large letters near the 13MP rear camera. Oppo Pad also features quad speakers that support Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio certification.



The Snapdragon 870 used is paired with a choice of 6GB and 8GB RAM, as well as 128GB and 256GB storage. The battery is 8,300 mAh which can be charged with a maximum power of 33W, as well as the Android 11 OS with the ColorOS 12 interface for tablets.



On this tablet, Oppo presents a multi-screen collaboration feature with certain Oppo phones, as well as a quick file transfer feature and phone mirroring to the tablet screen, as quoted by GSM Arena, Saturday (26/2/2022).


The Oppo Pencil supports 4096 levels of touch sensitivity, and can be attached to a tablet using a magnet, while recharging the battery which can last up to 13 hours.


There is also a keyboard case accessory that costs USD 63, while the Oppo Pencil costs USD 79. So how much does the tablet cost? The tablet, which is available in black and purple, is priced at USD 363 for the 6GB/128GB version, and USD 474 for the 8GB/256GB variant. Sales in China began on March 3, and it is not yet known if it will go on sale globally.
