1. 'Shock Attack' of Achievements

Saeful 'EVOS.Sam13' Muharrom has faced challenges from the start because his parents didn't know what esport was. Sam, who has had a hobby of playing games since childhood, didn't want to waste his talent, so he started participating in minor tournaments.

"I won a minor tournament, I brought money, I gave my parents, they couldn't believe 'Where did this money come from?', I said from the tournament cave. So that's the first proof," said Sam.

"The second proof of FFM Season I, then there was an invitation for the FFWC international championship, they became even more unpredictable. If we want to be supported, we really have to give evidence to our parents, this is the result of our work and dreams that we have to achieve. If I think about it, playing games from small, the age of 20 years has not given anything and is just a waste of money," he continued.

2. 'Don't freak out'

Wahyu 'G Arsy Leem' Winners of FFML Division 2 tend to be lucky because they have understanding and supportive parents. However, there is a condition.

"My parents supported me from the start playing FF because from the start the message was 'don't be weird', he said," he said.

3. Proof is what parents need

Riza Setiawan Coach of the GPX Team also has the same story as Sam, he was opposed to choosing a career in the gaming field. However, he is not discouraged to show that the game is not just for fun.

"My parents don't believe it, I forced it, and until now it's even been supported. So I prove that I'm not just playing," he said.

"If it's not supported yet, that's a natural thing, parents need proof that we don't just play games and waste time and have results," said Riza.
