The reason the Galaxy S22 Series uses Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 on the market

In launching the Galaxy S22 series on the market, Samsung changed its tradition. If previously their flagship phone used the Exynos chipset on the market, this time the Galaxy S22 uses a Snapdragon chip.

Precisely the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset made with 4nm processing.

We know that in 2021 there will be shortages of chipsets globally, as well as in 2022, especially later in the first semester.

So that's why we tried to coordinate with HQ and finally we decided and we heard the voices of consumers regarding the need for the S series, we present it specifically for the market, or more towards SEAO, we present Snapdragon.

Verry said that there are still Galaxy S22s that carry the Exynos 2200 chipset. But ahead of the launch, it is still not confirmed which countries will get the Galaxy S22 with the Exynos 2200.

With this launch, the Galaxy S22 series becomes the first mobile phone to carry the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip on the market. Verry explained that this chip brings a 25-30% increase in GPU and NPU when compared to the previous generation Exynos and Snapdragon chipsets.

So the improvement is a lot. GPU, NPU is very significant so that it makes processing more leverage.

In addition to faster performance, Verry said that a 4nm chipset such as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 will also make battery consumption more efficient, thus making battery life last longer.

Samsung is also preparing 45W fast charging technology for the Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra which is designed to maintain battery life in the long term. This fast charging technology can recharge the battery in about 60 minutes.

Charging from 0-80% is 20-30 minutes, but 80-100% still. So he will keep the battery life.
