Pre-orders for the two versions of GTA VI will be available late tomorrow morning. For those interested in buying it, Rockstar Games has confirmed that the best platform to enjoy GTA VI is the PlayStation 5 console. Several special features are only offered on the Sony console such as almost instant game loading, more realistic haptics and trigger buttons using the DualSense and audio through the DualSense.
The almost instant game loading feature uses the speed of the PS5 SSD to make waiting times a thing of the past. All previous GTA games have had very long loading times because the entire open world map has to be loaded into memory. GTA VI for example has a loading time of over a minute even on a PS5.
In addition to the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro, GTA VI can also be played on the Xbox Series S/X console starting November 19. The Switch 2 and PC versions have not yet been announced by Rockstar Games.
