Apex Legends Mobile Release Delayed, Allegedly Due to the Russian Invasion

Respawn Entertainment, announced that its game, Apex Legends Mobile, will not be released this week. They shifted it until March 7, 2022. The delay that occurred was allegedly due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

"Due to current world events, we have made the decision to shift the limited regional launch of Apex Legends Mobile. We intend to release it on March 7, to countries that have participated," wrote Respawn Entertainment as seen on Twitter, Friday (4/3/ 2022).

The developer did not explain clearly, regarding the exact reason why the launch of Apex Legends Mobile had to be postponed. But gamers attribute this world event to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. They were disappointed and mocked Respawn.

"Wow!! Thanks to Respawn the conflict between Russia and Ukraine has been improved. Thank you for delaying the game soft launch," quipped one gamer.

This delay also invites the disappointment of gamers. According to other netizens, this is disrespectful to the community. Because of the delay, it doesn't change anything about the tragedy that happened.

"This delay is clearly the worst. I really like this company, because it doesn't communicate well with the community," quipped another gamer.

As is known, Respawn Entertainment previously announced that it would release Apex Legends Mobile this week. Where will visit several countries first, including New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Mexico, Peru, Argentina and Colombia.

They also confirmed that the mobile version will not carry cross play. So that players on console and PC will not meet, with gamers who play Apex Legends on mobile devices.

A little information, if players want to enjoy the fun, at least they have to prepare an iOS device with 2GB RAM. As for Android users, have a minimum of 3GB RAM.
