Bill Gates admits he regrets inflicting wounds on his ex-wife Melinda French and their children because of their divorce. This was revealed by the Microsoft founder to CBS News in a statement.
"I will always be sorry for the wounds I inflicted on Melinda and our family," said Bill Gates, who is a father of three children: Jennifer (25), Rory (22) and Phoebe (19).
"I admire Melinda and everything she does to improve the lives of women and girls around the world, and I'm grateful for the work we do together at our foundation," Gates continued, citing People.
Previously, Melinda French had been outspoken about her feelings about their divorce in 2021. Melinda admitted that she never thought that she should divorce from Bill Gates.
Melinda even admitted that she had been crying for days. Not only sad, there are days where he feels angry over what is going on with his family.
Melinda told CBS Morning that she would still try to maintain a good relationship with Bill Gates even though he was injured.
"Friend is a different word to me. And, it may come with time," he said.
"But for me, there is still healing that needs to happen. Of course, I wish him well. I don't want him to get hurt," continued Melinda.
Bill Gates and Melinda French have agreed to separate amicably. Gono-gini treasures were resolved quickly and the two still seemed to 'get along' at the wedding of their eldest daughter, Jennifer Gates, some time ago.
