3 Countries in Asia that Have Made Peace with Covid-19

Are you curious when the Covid-19 virus will disappear and our activities will return to normal? It has been more than two years that we have faced life with Covid-19 which is getting more varied by the day.

So far, several Asian countries have made peace with Covid-19. Which countries and how do they deal with this virus?

1. Singapore

This transit country has begun to relax rules by eliminating the obligation to wear masks, has allowed performances to be held, and removed quarantines for visitors who have been vaccinated from other countries.

Even so, the use of masks in the room and keeping a distance still applies.

2. Hong Kong

Still from the same page, the country has also relaxed rules by reducing quarantine time, opening schools, and reopening sports facilities.

3. South Korea

The country has also stopped testing and tracing Covid. Now, South Korea is prioritizing health care and Covid-19 tests for vulnerable groups and the elderly.

Good news for all of us! In our country some activities are slowly starting to return to normal. Also, there are signs that we will soon be able to make peace with Covid-19.

The obligation for PCR and antigen tests no longer applies to domestic travelers who have already received the second vaccine. The quarantine period which was previously 14 days has now been reduced to only seven days.

In the future, it is estimated that COVID-19 cases will still exist, but the virus will not interfere with people's life activities as in the year it appeared.

Then, how can the country immediately make peace with Covid-19 and switch to endemic?

That's roughly the update about Covid-19 in Asian countries and the way we – the people – coexist with Covid-19 to reach the endemic phase later. Of course, to restore all activities that are currently still limited, we need our cooperation by being disciplined in wearing masks, diligently washing hands, avoiding crowds, and always obeying health procedures wherever they are.

Come on, let's break the chain of the spread of covid together, let's go!
