Don't miss it, these are 5 practices in the last 10 days of Ramadan that you must improve

I can't believe it, the month of Ramadan this year has entered the last 10 day phase. There are many virtues that can be obtained in the last 10 days of Ramadan. One of the hadiths related to the virtues of the last 10 days of Ramadan, namely:

From 'Aisyah radhiyallahu 'anha, she said, "The Messenger of Allah, sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam used to enter the last 10 Ramadans, he was serious in worship (by leaving his wives), lived those nights with worship, and woke up his wives. his wife to worship." Muttafaqun 'alaih. (Narrated by Bukhari no. 2024 and Muslim no. 1174).

From this hadith, it can be seen that the Prophet himself has exemplified obedience and sincerity in worship. For that, in the process of worship in the last 10 days of Ramadan, there are several practices that can be done. Read more below.

I'tikaf

I'tikaf is an activity of staying silent in the mosque with the sole purpose of worshiping Allah SWT. Performing i'tikaf in the last 10 days of Ramadan does have virtues.

In addition to its implementation in the holy month of Ramadan, the last 10 days of Ramadan are also a time span where there is a night of Lailatul Qadar, which is a night that is better than 1,000 months. There are many worships that can be done to fill i'tikaf activities. Starting from carrying out fardu prayers, sunnah prayers, reading the Qur'an, dhikr and others.

Increase Alms

The next practice that can be done and improved is alms, especially in the last 10 days of Ramadan. Alms is a very noble thing to do. However, the thing that needs to be underlined is that the alms given must be sincere and seek the pleasure of Allah SWT.

Alms given can be in any form, which of course can provide benefits for those who receive it. One of the hadiths related to alms is, "Charity can erase sins as water extinguishes fire". (HR. At-Tirmidhi).

Recite the Qur'an

Doing recitations of the Qur'an in the last 10 days of Ramadan can also be one of the most rewarding practices. As is known, the month of Ramadan is a month in which the reward is multiplied.

The Qur'an itself is a way of life and a very meaningful guide. In addition, Ramadan is also synonymous with the month of the Qur'an. It is not only limited to reading but also being able to study it in more depth.

Extending Evening Worship

Turning on the nights in the last 10 days of Ramadan is one of the things that the Prophet SAW exemplified. The Prophet Muhammad and his companions got used to praying, dhikr and other worship until dawn. This is certainly an example to perform the same worship as that of the Prophet Muhammad and his companions.

In addition, night worship is highly recommended and has its own virtues. This is further clarified by the argument in Q.S As-Sajdah verse 16 which means, "Their stomachs are far from their beds, they pray to their Lord with fear and hope, and they spend part of the sustenance We give them".

Do Good to Neighbors

Basically, doing good deeds to neighbors is not only done during Ramadan. However, increasing good deeds in the last 10 days of Ramadan can bring many benefits because the reward will be multiplied by Allah SWT. There are many ways to do good deeds, be it through sharing or otherwise.
