Great Loss! F1 NFT Game Closes and Tokens Are Worthless

At that time, one of the NFTs in the F1 Delta Time game was sold for USD 300 thousand, but now all the NFTs in the game are worthless.

F1 Delta Time is considered to be one of the first licensed blockchain games to exist, which was launched in March 2019. At that time, not many people knew about NFT, but there were still many who were interested in this game.

Because the developer 'sells' the game which has an official license from F1, and the players are promised to make money by playing games (play to earn). Even F1 Delta Time holds the record for the most expensive NFT sales in 2019.

The NFT item in question is a car in the game that sold for more than USD 100 thousand, as quoted by Techspot, Thursday (7/4/2022).

Even so, that does not mean the quality of the game is qualified. The graphics look very simple, and even the ratings on some review sites are very low.

Now, three years after its release, the F1 license for F1 Delta Time has expired and is not being renewed. They then closed the game, promising that all owners of digital assets in the game would be rewarded for their loyalty and support.

What's the prize? No, not the exchange of digital assets into cryptocurrencies. The digital assets were exchanged for tokens in different racing games. This is sure to irritate asset owners who spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to buy these assets.

The tokens from the game will still be there, but of course they have no value anymore because the game has been closed. This is an example of how an NFT game journeys when the game is closed.

It's no different than many online games which also ended up closing, even though many gamers had spent time and money to level up and buy in-game items.
