Netizens Reaction When Marshel Widianto Was Examined About Dea OnlyFans

Comedian Marshel Widianto fulfills a police call regarding the Dea OnlyFans case. This has garnered various reactions from the public on social media.

Marshel arrived at around 09.50 WIB at the Ditreskrimsus Polda Metro Jaya building, Thursday (7/4/2022). After getting out of the car, Marshel said his condition was fine, but had time to curse at the media crew.

Polda Metro Jaya previously revealed the identity of comedian M who bought pornographic content from Dea OnlyFans. The police said that comedian M was Marshel Widianto.

"Yes, that's right (Marshel Widianto)," said the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes E Zulpan when contacted, Wednesday (6/4).

Zulpan said that Marshel Widianto would be examined as a witness. Police will investigate Marshel's motivation to buy dozens of pornographic content from Dea OnlyFans.

The examination was to determine whether the comedian played a role in spreading pornographic content belonging to Dea OnlyFans. Previously yesterday, Marshel Widianto had opened his voice and apologized to the public.

"Forgive my naughtiness, friends. I'm really naughty, but I don't want to be a criminal," he said via uploads on his social media.

Marshel's answer confirmed who the comedian with the initials M was that made netizens curious to the point that it became a trending topic on Twitter. Now with Marshel's confession and his arrival at the police station, the public has reacted differently.

There are those who hold Marshel responsible, there are also those who defend him or are skeptical of his case. However, it seems that Indonesian netizens are smart enough to also see this case.

There is a lot of backlash against the police about the scale of priorities. Some netizens say that the cases of Dea OnlyFans and Marshel Widianto are not important. In fact, what is important is to investigate corruption, sexual harassment, rare cooking oil or polemics on the curtains for members of the DPR for Rp. 48 billion.

Here are some tweets from Indonesian netizens on Twitter:

"No comment, marshel. You're a big boy, buy it with your own money, you don't have to share it. Period," said @ahiraa ***.

"If there is news that corners the government, there will be even more scandalous scandals involving famous people," quipped @hsn***.

"At the very least, Marshel will be fined and then go free," said the skeptical @kopi***.

"What about corruption and sexual harassment??? Even those in Riau are freed, huh😤," criticized @pupus***.

"Be patient, Marshel. Sometimes in this country, many innocent people are blamed," defended @saveadam ***.

"The issue of buying 48M curtains is closed with the issue of buying porn," quipped @iqii***.
