PUBG Mobile 2.0 Released Next Month, Here's the New Features

PUBG Mobile reveals a number of features that will be presented in the version 2.0 update in May. What are the features?

In a video released last Saturday (23/4) as part of PUBG Mobile's 4th anniversary celebration, they confirmed that they would release a new Livik map. This map was released after two years of testing, and is now finally released with a number of improvements.

New partnerships with BLACKPINK, EVANGELION, The Great British Teddy Bear Company are also launching with updates, alongside gameplay improvements, Ban Pan 2.0, and more!

"The official version of the newly enhanced Livik map, the PUBG MOBILE-exclusive 2x2 map, will be launching with several updated themed areas - each with a different architecture and unique playstyle," PUBG Mobile wrote in a statement received by us.

The changed areas include:

Midtstein - A complex urban environment with a mix of buildings, punctuated by streets and alleys perfect for encouraging focused, high-octane melee combat.

Blomster - A wide road divides Blomster into sections with lots of vantage points to discover and take advantage of. The newly built soccer field provides players with an attractive place for recreational activities.

Logistic Center - The original Lumbar Yard has been upgraded to the new Logistic Center. This vast zone was filled with many refuges. Players who are able to move quickly in narrow corners will dominate this area.

Iceborg - A new Iceborg emerges from the snow-covered plains. A tall church stood solemnly amidst the tenuously aligned buildings for a game of hide-and-seek.

In the official map, PUBG Mobile will also add a different way of traversing Livik, with the introduction of a tough four-seater UTV for all terrains, from narrow urban alleys to steep mountain slopes.

In addition, players can now get exclusive activity rewards by exploring vehicle-only trails to reach areas that are not accessible on foot alone. Players can also use Ziplines to traverse the map in a fast and fun way.
