The month of Ramadan is coming to an end, these 4 good Sunnah practices must be practiced even harder!

For Muslims, the month of Ramadan is a month full of forgiveness, kindness, and joy. So don't be surprised if it is dubbed the holy month of Ramadan.

Because by fasting, a person is more able to restrain his worldly desires and be grateful for the blessings that have been given. Like the pleasures of eating, drinking, and healthy pleasures.

But do not feel, soon the fasting month will end. There are so many practices that can be done to increase the reward for the rest of Ramadan. Starting from bringing the Qur'an, giving charity, I'tikaf, and much more. In addition to the double reward, this practice can be done to increase the closeness of a Muslim to others and to Allah SWT.

What are you waiting for, let's practice some of these sunnahs so that this Ramadan will be even more complete and blessed with loved ones. Come on!

1. Reading the Qur'an

Al-Qur'an is the holy book of Muslims. Al-Qur'an is also a guide and guide in the life of Muslims in this world.

Reading the Qur'an is a sunnah with which, one can take lessons so that they can continue to live according to religious rules. In addition, someone who reads the Qur'an will get a lot of rewards. Especially in this holy month of Ramadan, the reward can be doubled.

Usually, in mosques tadarusan (salary alternately in one group) is held before breaking the fast and after the tarawih prayer. The goal is to teach each other, understand, and practice what is contained in it.

2. Give charity

Alms is the base of one's wealth, because the benefits of alms are not only helping to lighten the burden of people in need. Rather it increases the wealth of the giver, a means of purifying oneself, to avoid harm. It is better to give alms without being noticed by others, in order to avoid showing off or being arrogant.

In addition to increasing wealth, alms can also be a charity for the giver. Jariyah charity itself is a practice whose reward is never interrupted even though the giver has died. As mentioned in the hadith narrated by Muslim:

"If a person dies, then his deeds are cut off except for three things (namely): alms Jariyah, knowledge that is used, or the prayer of a pious child." (HR Muslim).

For example, building a boarding school or mosque. So as long as the place is still used, the reward will continue to flow to the giver.

3. Zakat

Paying zakat is the fourth pillar of Islam. According to BAZNAZ, zakat itself means certain assets that are issued when they have reached the conditions stipulated according to religious rules, issued to 8 asnaf recipients of zakat.

This zakat is obligatory for all Muslims who are able to comply with the requirements. The 8 groups of zakat recipients are the Fakir, the Poor, Amil, Muallaf, Riqab, Gharim, Fi Sabilillah, and Ibn Sabil.

If you are still confused about how to calculate whether the person is obliged or not to pay tithe, visiting the nearest Amil Zakat Agency (BAZ/LAZ) can be an option. Either visit in person or via telephone.

4. Maintain Attitude and Speech

As the essence of fasting in general, namely to help someone stay away from lust and get closer to Allah SWT. So, during fasting it would be better to always be patient, calm, and stay away from things that can make emotions and things that are prohibited. So, after fasting one's lust will be controlled again. For example, by maintaining speech and attitude towards others.

Those are easy practices that you can do before the fasting month is over. Don't forget to do it with sincere intentions and expect His pleasure.
