Tips for not being sleepy while working during the fasting month, let's listen!


 Entering the holy month of Ramadan, this habit is usually experienced while fasting. Can anyone guess? Yup, sleepy at work!

Usually this happens because of waiting too much for sahur until dawn or feeling weak because of hunger. Wow, don't get used to doing that, okay?

1. Find Activities to Keep Yourself Busy


While in the office, there must be a time where there is no work or the work on that day has been completed and for sure this will make you sleepy. Well, try as much as possible you need to keep yourself busy by doing small tasks.


One of them can make a to do list for tomorrow's work, tidy up work notes, and it never hurts to help teammates. This can make you more productive and distract from sleep.


2. Move or Walk Around the Office


Well, considering the work in the office that requires you to sit at your desk in front of the computer all day, of course this will make you feel bored and sleepy. You can try stretching and moving around the office for a while to get your enthusiasm back to work. 4. Take a short nap while resting

Set an alarm so that you don't fall asleep until late in the afternoon because this will make you feel dizzy when you wake up and have a headache. Sleeping in a span of no more than 30 minutes is still ideal to restore your concentration while working.


5. Sufficient Water Needs During Fasting


During fasting, it's a good idea to have enough water at dawn and iftar time so as not to cause dehydration during work. Lack of water in the body will affect the performance of the brain which can make you sleepy and easily tired. Therefore, meet the needs of water to accelerate the body's metabolism.

-Two glasses at iftar

-Two glasses at the time after tarawih prayer

6. Avoid the habit of staying up late


Before working in the morning, it's a good idea to have enough sleep at night. Avoid sleeping at night caused by things you don't need to do, such as playing with gadgets because this can make you lose track of time.


Limit activities and set a sleep schedule according to the body's needs so that the next day you can be fit and have stamina again in carrying out activities.
