Android 13 Internal Camera Application Can Access HDR Video Recording Feature On The Device

To offer Android users the best photography experience, the Camera2API and Camera X APIs have been introduced by Google for device manufacturers and camera app developers to use.

Camera2API is more about allowing a camera -related application to be given full access to control the camera's capabilities. CameraX is for camera applications to access unique features such as portrait mode or beauty mode.

In the upcoming Android 13, any app or device with Camera2API or CameraX is used or active-the camera app installed on the device can do HDR video recording. In addition, the camera's viewfinder will also be displayed better so that the display will be more stable and less vibrate.

This means that in the future, social media applications with camera functions such as for video recording or taking pictures - it will be more interesting and quality. Devices that the manufacturer does not offer features bokeh, night mode, HDR, beauty mode and auto mode, Google has a plugin on CameraX for this unfortunate device can take advantage of these features with the concept of IFTT.

For example, if the device has a bokeh feature - the camera app with this API will use the default bokeh. But if not, it will use Google’s bokeh system.
