Bill Gates Doesn't Buy Social Media Like Elon Musk, Why?

Elon Musk stated that he was still committed to buying Twitter even though it was currently suspended because he wanted to confirm fake account data on social media. Well, is Bill Gates also interested in having a social media?

Regarding this, the Microsoft founder stated that he had no intention of following in Elon Musk's footsteps. It seems that he is already engrossed in his current activities.

"I have no plans to become the owner of a social media platform. I am completely focused on philanthropy and issues such as pandemic prevention, global health, climate change and Alzheimer's research," he said as quoted by us from social media.

Some time ago, Bill Gates was also asked if he was interested in the space business as Elon Musk did with Jeff Bezos. He also replied that he had no interest.

"I became obsessed with things like Malaria, HIV, and wanted to get rid of those diseases. I might bore people talking about diseases on various occasions. (Going) to space? There's a lot of work we have to do on this Earth," he said. Bill Gates at the time.

Bill Gates recently commented on Elon Musk's acquisition of Twitter. The Microsoft founder admits that Musk's track record at other companies is impressive. Gates praised Musk for doing a great job of putting together a great team of engineers at these companies.

But he doubts Elon Musk is able to control Twitter. "I kind of doubt it will happen this time (on Twitter). But we must be open-minded and never underestimate Elon," Bill Gates was quoted as saying by CNBC.
