Do you want your WhatsApp status to look offline even though you're online so you don't get distracted by your ex or annoying person? There is an easy way to do it.
No need to turn off your cellphone or internet connection. Follow the three ways below to make your WhatsApp look offline, as compiled by us, Thursday (19/5/2022).
1. Turn off Last Seen
The easiest way to look offline on WhatsApp is to turn off Last Seen. This is an indicator that shows when someone looks active and online on WhatsApp.
To turn off Last Seen it's easy.
Open the WhatsApp app
Click the three dots in the right corner
Press Settings
Select Account
Tap Privacy
Press on the Last Seen bagian
WhatsApp provides three options that users can choose to display their Last Seen, namely:
- For everyone (Everyone)
- For contacts only (My Contacts),
- Not shown to anyone (Nobody).
Select the Nobody option so that your Last Seen is no longer visible.
2. Turn off Blue Tick
The second way that is no less easy is to turn off 'Read receipts' or the two blue ticks. If this feature is turned on, the sender of the message will know you are online because there will be two blue ticks under their message indicating that you have read the chat.
To turn off this blue tick, go back to the Privacy page as above. After that look for the 'Read receipts' option.
You just click the button next to it to turn off Read Receipts. But keep in mind, if Read receipts is turned off, then you also can't see if other people have read your chat or not.
