Acer announced the Vero device that is ready to enliven the 2022 computer market. It is still made environmentally friendly, but now there are more variants to meet the needs of consumers, businesses and institutions.

Acer Aspire Vero
The latest Acer Aspire Vero comes with a 14-inch and 15-inch Full HD screen. Both are powered by the latest 12th Gen Intel Core processors. In addition, to add to the distinctive Cobblestone Gray color of the previous generation, the Aspire Vero laptop is now available in the beautiful Mariana Blue color.
Combined with Intel Iris Xe graphics and Wi-Fi 6, this laptop is designed to be creative and connected and comes with more than enough port options, including Thunderbolt 4/USB Type-C and two USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports, one of which can be used to charge mobile devices even when the system is turned off.
Both the 14-inch and 15-inch Acer Aspire Vero models are equipped with an OceanGlass trackpad, which is made of ocean-bound plastic. Like previous models, the two new Aspire Vero chassis use 30% durable and sturdy Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) plastic and save 21% carbon emissions[2] in chassis production.
The display bezel on the laptop uses 30% PCR plastic, and 50% on the keycap, which further reduces the computer's emissions, as well as the absence of paint used on the laptop chassis. To extend the life of the laptop, the repair and upgrade process on the laptop is made easy with the base cover that is easily removed with standard screws to replace RAM and SSD.
The laptop inner case is an intelligently designed multipurpose box with an inner partition that folds into a triangular laptop holder. This unique packaging protects the device without needing anything but 85% recycled paper, plus a laptop pouch made of 100% industrial recycled plastic (PIR) and an extra sheet of 100% PIR plastic that sits between the laptop screen and keyboard.

The Acer Veriton Vero (VVZ4694G) all-in-one desktop computer (AIO) is designed for users who work from home seeking advanced computing in a space-saving design.

Safeguarding sensitive data has never been as important as it is today. Veriton Vero comes with Windows Hello which uses an IR scanner for facial recognition, while discrete Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0 enhances security. Monitor Acer Vero
The two latest IPS monitors from Acer Vero, the Acer CB273 with a size of 27-inch FHD, and the Acer B247Y-G with a size of 23.8-inch FHD have an eco-friendly design consisting of 85% PCR plastic and 5% ocean bound plastic (OBP). With a Delta E<1 rating, the Acer CB273 delivers rich, accurate colors.
This monitor panel is TÃœV Rheinland Eyesafe certified which reduces high-energy blue light to protect the eyes, while maintaining the color integrity of the screen. The Acer CB273 is also equipped with a KVM switch for using and easily switching between multiple computers, while using the same monitor, keyboard and mouse. Equipped with USB Type-C, this monitor can provide up to 90W of power to other devices.
Projector Acer Vero PD2325W
An energy efficient projector with a low environmental impact, the Vero PD2325W uses 50% PCR plastic in the chassis and 85% of the packaging uses recycled paper to reduce waste. Its LED light source provides up to 30,000 hours of life and results in approximately 50% energy savings compared to traditional mercury-containing lamp projectors.
With a high 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio, 2,200 lumens and WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution, the Acer Vero PD2325W projects presentations with clarity and precision. It also supports a 125% REC 709 color gamut which is 1.5 to 2 times wider than that provided by traditional lamp-based projectors.
Auto Keystone Correction on this projector automatically changes vertical distortion, while this projector can be ceiling mounted. Additionally, BlueLightShield is integrated into this projector and supports adjustment of the blue light filter to reduce exposure.
The Acer Vero PD2325W has an integrated 5W speaker to display videos, music and movies without having to connect separate speakers. This product also supports 24/7 continuous use for public displays or museum exhibits.
Vero Mouse & Keyboard
The current Vero line includes peripherals including a mouse and keyboard designed to reduce waste and carbon emissions as well as noise. The top cover of these two peripherals is made of 65% PCR plastic and the bottom cover is made of 30% OBP.
Long cycle life is essential to minimize waste. Both the mouse and keyboard are built to last with a mouse that has an 18-month battery life and a Vero keyboard, a long life of up to 5 million clicks.
The buttons on both make almost no sound, an advantage when working in shared spaces, public spaces such as cafes or libraries or when enjoying music and podcasts at home. The consumer and commercial models are offered with a consumer version featuring a combination of light gray and charcoal gray with bright yellow accents, while a simpler monochrome charcoal gray is available for professionals.
