Kuo-iPhone Will Finally Use USB-C In 2023

Apple is known for its unwillingness to follow market trends instead deciding to wait to see the maturity of the technology. Among the technologies that they still refuse to use on the iPhone is the USB-C charging port. According to leading analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple will finally use USB-C on the iPhone starting the second half of 2023.

The use of USB-C will standardize the use of the same port over more of their products such as the iPad and MacBook. It will also allow data transfer at higher speeds to be done using cables. This decision may be taken because the European Union has already agreed to enforce the use of USB-C on all electronic devices to reduce electronic waste.
