Microsoft is now asking organizations to stop using Internet Explorer 11, and not wait for a support deadline before making the transition.
Microsoft is currently setting a June 15 date to end support for Internet Explorer 11 - thus ending the IE web browser era entirely.
As an alternative to IE, Microsoft provides the modern web browser Microsoft Edge. It also comes with a dedicated IE mode along with it, thus allowing IE -friendly applications to remain usable.
