NVIDIA Collaborates Again With Noctua To Introduce ASUS GeForce RTX 3080 Noctua Edition Graphics Card

Last year, ASUS and Noctua teamed up to introduce a graphics card built specifically using a fan and cooling system developed by Noctua, the ASUS GeForce RTX 3070 Noctua Edition.

Recently, the two companies are seen working together again to introduce a more powerful graphics card, the ASUS GeForce RTX 3080 Noctua Edition, this time using the basic graphics card ASUS GeForce RTX 3080 with a combination of Noctua cooling system.

This graphics card comes with two modes of use, namely Gaming mode with a GPU speed of 1785MHz, and OC mode at a speed of 1815MHz. In terms of memory offerings, ASUS is seen using the RTX 3080 model with 10GB of GDDR6X memory, rather than the updated 12GB model.

This graphics card uses two Noctua NF-A12x25 fans to cool it and ASUS says that this graphics card is the quietest and most powerful graphics card they have released. Just like other ASUS graphics cards, it comes with a 0db cooling function where the fan will not rotate until the GPU component reaches a certain temperature.

To help with this cooling is the use of a fairly thick aluminum block, where this graphics card will take four PCIe expansion slots, so if you plan on getting this graphics card, our advice is to make sure that your computer frame can fit it.

Update: ASUS Malaysia has confirmed that this graphics card has started selling in the local market at a price of RM5210.
